Wholesale Account Manager

About the Job

The primary function of the Account Manager is to review and request documents from brokers and third party vendors in a timely matter.  Must possess excellent customer service skills, establish a professional relationship and good rapport with all parties related to the loan transaction and impeccable follow up skills to take each file from pre-approval to closing.

  • The primary duty for an Account Manager is to collect all the required information about the applicant.
  • He or she has the responsibility to obtain all the paper work and forms required for the loan
  • Order Insurance, Appraisals, Loan Payoffs, Flood and Tax Certificates, Credit Supplements, Transcripts, SSA Verifications, Title Documentations and thoroughly review all documents before submitting to underwriter
  • He or she has to check if all the information provided by the candidate, is accurate and adequate
  • He or she needs to have thorough and deep understanding about the terminology as well as rules and regulations regarding the mortgage industry.
  • He or she should have required communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Review loan related documents for accuracy within a time frame established by management
  • He or she should have basic computer skills and be able to maintain complete confidentiality
  • Communicate documentation requirements, status and potential issues to all parties related to the loan transaction
  • Coordinate loan closings with Closing Agent

  • Set follow-up appointments to keep brokers aware of latest developments ​
  • Train brokers on our broker directed pipeline management software allowing for 24 hour access to their pipeline for processing
  • Source, develop and manage new accounts
  • Connect with current and past business partners to nurture relationships and increase production
  • Repair relationships that may have been lost through previous experience
  • Present yourself as a viable representative with the skills to present various loan programs and confidently guide business partners through the approval and closing (operations) process
  • Must be a Product and file flow Specialist taking personal responsibility for pipeline management in excess of $15mm while thriving on the fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Must provide exceptional customer service and maintain utmost credibility within the professional community on behalf of Greenbox Loans, Inc.
  • Must maintain an updated and accurate database of clients while adhering to company policy and procedure

Team Leaders | Sr. Underwriters

About the Job

GreenBox Loans, Inc. an aggressive Mortgage Banker has openings for experienced Sr. Underwriters/(Team Leaders). Individual will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, underwriting and clearing conditions for Greenbox Loans, Inc. loans and NonQM or Investor loan types based on the specified guidelines. A thorough working knowledge of industry standard product/program guidelines, necessary conditions for approval, investor specific guidelines and technical/software navigation must be executed constantly and consistently. Ability to manage a large pipeline, attention to detail and self-management is required. Must perform all duties in accordance with company policies/procedures and all state and federal regulations.

Compensation is very competitive!!! This is a mortgage banking position – a strong production minded individual – NOT an Engineer, Technician. This is an UNDERWRITER Position. Thank you!


  • 5 Plus years underwriting experience is A MUST
  • Thorough understanding of underwriting policies and procedures as well as investor guidelines and regulatory updates including a understanding of underwriting guidelines
  • Familiarity with review and understanding of complex tax documentation
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Proactive and timely communication to customers and business partners on loan decisions and underwriting guidelines
  • Superior internal and external customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have the ability to drive your pipeline, have a strong production mindset
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work overtime as needed – no cap on OT

The person filling this position MUST HAVE A SENSE OF URGENCY
